Our Little YS group (5–8 years) had a lovely creative session making colourful sun catchers ☀️🎨
The young people enjoyed choosing their colours and designs, showing lots of creativity and concentration throughout the activity. It was great seeing everyone take pride in their work and enjoy spending time together chatting and creating.

YMCA Barnsley has been part of our local landscape since 1857, so next year we celebrate 170 years of working with our communities' children, young people and families 😃. Members of Y Stay In youth club discussed YMCA Barnsley's place in our lil ole town, what it stood for back then, the roots and origins of the organisation, and the growth it has witnessed to stand proud where it is today. YMCA Barnsley remains part of our landscape, still working with children, young people and families, and still loved by many. A new banner is happening that we hope will reflect our journey.
