“We have been using Barnsley YMCA as a location for our mum and baby groups for a while now and it is brilliant! The space is fantastic, very clean, lots of resources and equipment available to use. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, they really go the extra mile and make us feel so welcome. I can’t recommend the YMCA enough, it is central, bright and a real community hub.” Charlotte NHS Perinatal Team
Allotment & Community Orchards
We have an allotment that we use in our work with children and young people and two community orchards that we manage in partnership with Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts. We have plenty of opportunities for members to get involved and learn about growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables. Our outdoor green spaces provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, meet other people, learn and share knowledge and skills and we always share the produce!
We are always seeking enthusiastic, green fingered individuals to help with the upkeep of our allotment and orchards.
